Home Superior
The three insurance plans offer additional benefits in relation to traditional insurance products. The covers offered for the Home Superior, Home Plus, Home Basic are set out in the Home Insurance Table.
Home Superior, the ultimate home insurance plan, should exceed all your expectations.
Home Superior sets new standards in the market by going a step further than any other standard home insurance plan currently available. Not only traditional covers have been extended - fire, earthquake, theft, indemnity on the replacement value, inflationary protection, cover for travel luggage, fraudulent use of credit cards, loss of rent, personal and public liability, etc. - but Home Superior also provides the holder with free membership to the Home Club and the Home Assistance service.
Home Assistance (800 92655)
Home Assistance is designed to offer you home emergency and routine maintenance services.
Service for Emergency Home Technical Assistance
This serviceapplies to the following (emergency) cases and is available 24 hours a day. All it takes is a phone call, and a competent technician will be made available to you for the repair of any damage that requires immediate attention related to:
PLUMBING INSTALLATIONS - Up to a limit of €60 per visit and a maximum of three calls per annual period of insurance.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS - Up to a limit of €60 per visit and a maximum of three calls per annual period of insurance.
LOCKS - Replacement of the main entrance locks, in case of loss or theft of keys, or damaged locks, up to a limit of €60 per visit and a maximum of three calls per annual period of insurance.
GLASS - Replacement of the broken glass of exterior doors or windows, up to a limit of €60 per visit and a maximum of three calls per annual period of insurance.
TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT OF TV, VIDEO OR DVD* - Temporary replacement of such equipment for up to 15 days, with the right to use this service up to two times per annual period of insurance.
GUARDING SERVICES* - The security and protection of the insured home by specialised staff for up to three days, and the right to use this service up to two times per annual period of insurance.
CLEANING OF THE DAMAGED PREMISES* - Cleaning of the damaged place by specialised staff. This service can be provided once per annual period of insurance and up to a maximum charge of €210.
FURNITURE REMOVAL* - Collection and transportation of furniture to a designated location within a radius of 15km of the insured home.
SAFEKEEPING OF FURNITURE OR OTHER PERSONAL EFFECTS* - Storage for up to seven days.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION* - Hotel accommodation expenses in the event that the insured home becomes unsuitable for living, for a maximum period of two days for five persons, with a maximum limit of €60 per person per day.
AMBULANCE TRANSPORTATION* - The dispatch of an ambulance for the transportation of the insured to the nearest hospital.
EMERGENCY RETURN OF THE INSURED TO HIS/HER HOME* - This covers the cost of emergency transportation of the insured and his/her spouse to their home, up to a limit of €600 per person, if they happen to be abroad and their return home is deemed essential.
TRANSFER OF URGENT MESSAGES* - Urgent messages relating to damages will be forwarded to one or more persons anywhere in the world, as indicated by the insured.
Notes: (1) The Home Plus insurance plan covers only the first five cases mentioned above. (2)* Cover provided only in case of fire, explosion, flooding or burglary of the insured home.
Home Assistance Connection Services
This service allows you to contact the technical assistance company with which we cooperate to request quotations from specialised technicians for any maintenance, repair or construction work you wish to undertake in your home. If you accept their offer, the technical assistance company will coordinate the various technicians involved, in order to ensure the smooth execution of the work required, guarantee the quality of the work and control the cost involved (which in this case is payable by yourself, the insured). The technical assistance company will also provide a six-month guarantee for the workmanship.
The specialised technicians can provide services in the following areas:
Plumbing, electrical installations, locks and security systems (mechanical or electronic), glass panes and mirrors, construction work, painting, carpentry work, installation of TV antennas, heating/air-conditioning, TV, video or DVD rentals, security services, repair of domestic appliances, steel or aluminium structures, fumigation, tents, insulations, wooden floors and cleaning of drains.
Home Club
As a Home Plus or Home Superior policyholder you automatically become a member of the Home Club and enjoy special discounts in a number of household goods shops (furniture, DIY, heating equipment, etc).
NOTE:
The Company offers its clients the above mentioned home Assistance and Home Club services free of charge. These services may be modified or discontinued at the Company's discretion upon renewal of the insurance policy, following the prior written notification of the Client.
